The plant-based cooking app lays out its screens for iPhone Duo closed, open, half open like a book and in the seated position, from the day the device goes on sale.
MontrƩal, Canada - Eline's Table, the plant-based cooking app created by chef Eline Bonnin, supports iPhone Duo from launch day. Each screen of the app changes its layout depending on how the device is held.
In the seated position, iPhone Duo stands on its own and the app splits the screen at the fold. The upper half shows content and the lower half holds the controls.
In Cook Mode, the upper half shows the current step, its video, and the ingredients it uses with their quantities. The lower half holds the step timer, a row of step numbers, and Previous and Next buttons.
Recipe videos follow the same split. The video plays on the upper half. Play and pause, mute, half speed and the progress bar sit on the lower half.

On the larger display, screens use two columns. A recipe shows its ingredients and its steps side by side. Shopping lists open next to the list of all lists.

Half open like a book, screens split their content on each side of the fold. An editorial collection shows its cover photo on one side and its recipes on the other.
