Powered by Apple's Foundation Models running on Private Cloud Compute, the app's new search will be able to understand full sentences, and to take over the timer, the steps and the shopping list through Siri with App Intents.
MontrƩal, Canada - Eline's Table, the vegan cooking app, today announces a major update built for iOS 27. The release rebuilds two of the app's core experiences, finding a recipe and cooking it, around Apple's newest platform technologies: Private Cloud Compute for natural language search, and App Intents for a hands-free kitchen mode driven by Siri.
The update will be available on the App Store alongside the public release of iOS 27.
Recipe apps have long asked their users to think like a database. Eline's Table now lets them think like themselves.
Powered by Apple's Foundation Models running on Private Cloud Compute, the app's new search understands complete, conversational requests like "find me something with zucchinis and carrots" "a dessert I can make with kids on a Sunday afternoon," "something gluten-free ready in twenty minutes." to give the best answer across the app's full library of more than 1,200 published recipes.
Because the feature runs on Private Cloud Compute, requests are processed with the same privacy guarantees Apple applies to its own Apple Intelligence features.

Anyone who has tried to advance a recipe with flour-covered hands knows the problem. Eline's Table's redesigned Cooking Mode solves it with a set of App Intents built on iOS 27's App Schemas, so the app's actions are exposed directly to the new Siri:
Timers: Using the clock domain, "Siri, start the timer" launches the recipe's own timing directly from the step being read.
Steps, hands-free: With on-screen awareness, Siri knows which recipe and which step are on screen. "Next step," "repeat that," or "how much flour?" are resolved against what the user is actually looking at.
Shopping lists: Through the reminders domain, users can build a shopping list by voice, add ingredients to it, and check items off while standing in the aisle.

Eline's Table is a bilingual plant-based cooking app built around a single conviction: plant-based cooking should be everyday, affordable and genuinely good. The catalog spans more than 1,200 recipes, from weeknight main courses and batch-cooking staples to pastry and homemade cheeses to host. Weekly meal plans, shopping lists, positive nutrition and a cooking mode designed for real kitchens round out the experience.
The app was founded and written by a French chef, Ćline Bonnin, followed by more than 300,000 people across social media, whose YouTube videos on plant-based nutrition have earned her a reputation for turning peer-reviewed research into advice people can actually cook with.
Availability: Eline's Table is a free download on the App Store, with a premium subscription unlocking the full recipe library, meal plans, nutrition and more.
